Rotaryvalve RES

The new rotary valve RES from TOREX® The TOREX® organization has grown very quickly over the years and is a real specialist in the controlled processing of powders and granulates through a large program of, among other things, loading bellows, diverter valves and rotary valves. For example, TOREX® is currently one of the larger players in the field of rotary valves in the world, and they produce a wide range of versions in cast iron and stainless steel. The program includes various drop-through and blow-through sluice gates, which vary from a simple dust sluice to sluice gate versions for the processing of powders and granules with critical properties, hygiene or where quick access plays a role. By constantly investing in the development of new machines and production methods, a recent result of this is the rotary valve type RES that can be seen at the Solids 2023. The rotor of the lock can be pulled out by means of an innovative rail system and is therefore easy and quick to inspect or clean. An innovation that immediately yields a great advantage for many relations. This model will also be available in the future as a through valve (REC) or blow through valve (RES). The characteristics of the rotary valve type “RES/REC” are: - PN 10 flanges - 4 capacities 5 - 10 - 20, and 35 liters per revolution - 4 pipe diameters 2”, 3”, 4” and 5” inch - Quick access to the heart of the machine - Standard stainless steel 316 version - Available in an ATEX zone 20/22 and EU1935/2004 version

Bin Activator BAF

The BAF Bin Activator for Food Applications is a device of tapered conical shape that, due to vibration, facilitates material flow from hoppers or silos during discharge. Manufactured from stainless steel, the BAF Bin Activator line offers a high surface finishing grade. The mating parts are continuously welded on both sides, deburred and smoothened on the edges, niches, cracks, and crevices, thus obtaining a perfectly smooth surface. As a result, material residue is reduced to the minimum. BAF Bin Activators consist of a seamless 304L or 316L stainless steel cone manufactured on a sheet metal lathe, a seamless gasket with integrated upper and lower flanges manufactured from food-grade SINTAL engineering polymer, suspensions connecting the Activator with the silo cone, as well as one or two electric motovibrators by OLI.

Diverter Valves

WBH Mixer

WBH Horizontal Single Shaft Batch Mixers consist of a mixing drum vessel with an inlet, an outlet with discharge valve and a venting spout, a full material mixing shaft, two drum closing end plates that carry flanged end bearing assemblies complete with integrated air or gas-purged shaft seals, and a drive unit complete with power transmission. Ploughshare or inclined blade-type shovel tools rotate as mixing tools in a special arrangement on the mixer shaft in a horizontal, cylindrical drum vessel. The result is a turbulence in the mix that constantly involves all the product particles in the mixing process. The formation of dead spots or slow-movement zones in the mixing drum is prevented ensuring precise mixing. In some cases, to obtain the desired mixing effect, separately driven high-speed choppers can be installed.

EXTRACURVE Wide Radius Anti-Wear Pipe Elbows

WAM wear bends, an innovation against abrasive products. WAM has been active in bulk handling for more than 50 years. During this period, various products have been added to the WAM program that have provided an immediate advantage in terms of innovation. One of those articles is the large-radius wear bend EXTRACURVE®. The EXTRACURVE® is very suitable for processing abrasive powders and granules in pneumatic conveying systems with a pressure of up to 1.5 barg. These bends are widely used in sectors such as food, building materials, plastics and animal feed. The EXTRACURVE® has a radius of 900 mm and is made of innovative wear-resistant SINT polymer, the design and composition of which was developed by WAM itself. The polymer is softer than metal and therefore has a lower coefficient of friction. Another big advantage compared to metal bends is the installation of the EXTRACURVE®. The flexibility and adaptability make positioning much easier, while the durability is greatly improved. This model is also available in straight pieces. EXTRABEND® Anti-wear short blow-in bend

EXTRABEND® are short radius Pipe Elbows that are inserted as a link in pneumatic conveying ducts. They are manufactured from a one-piece SINT engineering polymer cast. Their special geometry enables diversion of the material flow at minimum wear due to a dead zone at the point of diversion.

Loading Bellow Bellojet

BELLOJET ZA Loading Bellows are used for efficient, dust-controlled loading of dry, dusty bulk solids into tankers. The spouts are provided with inner tapered cones to contain the flow of material and an outer double bellows to provide for dust removal. At the lower end of the Loading Bellows, a SINT engineering polymer-coated cone with special sealing properties is provided for connection to the tanker.
