The new generation of Endress+Hauser 80GHz radar measurement

Based on its new electronics and housing platform, Endress+Hauser has taken the 80GHz radar level measurement line to the next level. The new, state-of-the-art, safe-by-design delivers not only reliable level measurement but also insight into the conditions under which the unit operates. We call this Heartbeat Technology. This technology takes advantage of the extensive set of SIL diagnostic hardware and software features added to this platform. An instrument verification as part of ISO9001, for example, can be easily performed without disruption to the process. The Micropilot FMR6xB radar can be accessed via HART, Bluetooth or via the fast APL (Advanced Physical Layer). This makes FMR6xB the first 80GHz radar on the market with APL.
