About us
If screw conveyors are not your field of expertise and the requirements are high, you need to be able to rely on a company that has the know-how and a proven track record. Van Beek screw conveyors have it all. We design, manufacture and sell customer-specific screw conveyors, bulk truck loaders and screw heat exchangers. We do all this with our team of 50 dedicated and skilled employees based at our office in Drunen.
Our company was founded in 1950, with screw conveyors as our core business. We are now a global supplier of screw conveyor technology, particularly to the chemical, pharmaceutical, environmental and food industries. This may include our Dino bulk truck loaders and also the Celsius screw heat exchanger or our Hypreme products, which meet the highest hygiene requirements.
With our years of experience and expertise, we offer appropriate answers to every question, large or small.
Products & services

Tube Conveyors
Tube conveyors are closed screw conveyor systems that have a long service life. They require little maintenance, and are a relatively cheap solution for transporting (very fine) powders, granules and granulates. Our EasyClean tube conveyors with a removable screw make cleaning and inspection very easy and fast. Sectors that have been using tube conveyors successfully for years include the (pet) food industry, and companies in the chemical and recycling sector. In these sectors, tube conveyors (dosing screws) are used, for example, for dosed feeding of raw materials for paints or for loading sugar. A tube conveyor can load powders, granules and granulate up to an angle of 90°. This is ideal in working situations where you want to bridge a height in a limited space using closed screw conveyor systems.

Trough screw conveyors
Van Beek’s open and closed trough screw conveyors are easy to clean via the hinged or bolted trough covers. Efficient, hygienic and quick cleaning and Cleaning In Place (CIP): everything’s possible with our trough screw conveyors. That’s because they can be fitted with bolt-on lids, hinged lids and quick-release fasteners. Safety switches on the trough lids ensure that your employees can inspect and/or clean the trough screw conveyors free from any risk. Optionally, the cleaning fluid (CIP lines) drain can be fitted with a hygienic shut-off valve, thereby removing the possibility of ‘dead product zones’. The (animal) foodstuffs industry makes extensive use of closed trough screw conveyors. Granulates, powders and granules can be transported hygienically and dust-free using closed trough screw conveyors. For example, when transporting foodstuffs horizontally to a mixer. Trough screw conveyors are also often used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and plastics industries. Due to the closed system, taste, temperature level and moisture are retained. Another advantage of a closed system is that not only is there no product loss from the inside to the outside, but also no foreign products can enter from outside.

Shaftless conveyors
With the Van Beek shaftless screw conveyors you can transport sticky, wet, coarse or irregular products without the risk of blockage or sticking. Sticky solid bulk materials such as magnesium as a waste product, tend to stick to the central inner tube of a screw conveyor. Shaftless screw conveyors do not have this problem because there is no inner tube, also called a shaft, as only the spiral is used to transport the bulk product. This makes the shaftless screw conveyor the perfect solution for elevating and transporting ‘difficult’ products. Compared to a shaft screw conveyor, shaftless spiral conveyors are ideal for bridging distances of 10 metres or greater without an intermediate support. The screw is supported over its entire length by a wear-resistant plastic lining. The shaftless conveyor also performs well in a limited space, even with a considerable difference in height: a feed angle of up to 90° is possible.

Screw elevators
Screw elevators are reliable and trouble-free machines with a long life span. Specially developed to automatically and safely transport powders and granulates from a lower to a higher area, they are widely used in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical and plastics industries. Screw elevators are closed transport systems that allow you to add dosed powders, pellets and granules to, for example, filling lines, silos and mixing tanks. The machine consists of a hopper with an inclined screw conveyor. The product is poured into the hopper, after which the screw conveyor transports the material upwards. The screw elevators we supply meet your requirements exactly. You specify what the delivery height of the screw elevator should be. And do you want to use the machine for multiple products or at multiple locations? If so, we can supply a mobile version. Our systems meet your requirements, not the other way around!

Vertical conveyors
The vertical elevation of bulk goods is possible in more scenarios than is often thought. These machines are extremely suitable for bridging considerable heights in, for example, the recycling, chemical and meat processing industries. This is because very little floor space is required to obtain a high delivery height. Van Beek has been designing and manufacturing vertical screw conveyors for years. For example, where PET bottles or plastic parts need to be transported to a higher-level buffer or be conveyed to another follow-up process, a vertical screw conveyor can offer a solution. The same applies to shredder waste, for example. A screw conveyor can therefore prove to be a much more compact alternative to a belt conveyor. Another advantage compared to elevators is that with a vertical screw conveyor, there is no return. Vertical transport requires different features in a screw conveyor and the product feed, compared with horizontal or inclined conveying. Van Beek has decades of experience with this challenging application. We have developed many customised screw conveyor systems, and are therefore able offer solutions to many challenges.

Dino bulk truck loaders
The Dino models form the basis of our unique product range in bulk truck loaders. With additional modules such as dust extraction, crushers and other accessories, we can tailor these basic types to your specific product and loading requirements. There is a suitable loading machine to meet your needs. A bulk truck loader is a loading machine that allows automatic, dust-free packaging of products in 25kg bags, big bags and even loose bulk goods into silo trucks, rail wagons and even cargo ships. Do you want to load bulk goods packed in big bags? Or loose bulk goods that are loaded with a shovel? The Dino bulk truck loader can handle both, at a basic capacity of 45m³ per hour and a maximum capacity of 90m³ per hour. This means that, on average, you can fill a silo truck or container in 45 to 60 minutes. Even if these are products that have poor flow properties. Because the mobile bulk truck loader is easy to move, loading in different locations is no problem.

Celsius Volta
Van Beek introduces Celsius Volta, an innovative electrically heated screw heat exchanger. This new development offers energy savings of at least 25%, and advanced process control thanks to individually adjustable temperature zones. The Celsius Volta heats and dries products without using thermal media such as steam, hot water or thermal oil. As a result, there is no energy loss due to heat transfer through pipelines, no risk of leaks and the process’s energy infrastructure is greatly simplified. Electric heating takes place directly in the machine, ensuring maximum efficiency. The absence of thermal media means that the machine heats up faster, and less energy is lost when cooling. The option to set the temperature zones separately allows for accurate control of the process. This offers advantages for those production processes that benefit from a gradual rise in temperature or specific temperature settings distributed along the length of the machine. The Celsius Volta aligns perfectly with the electrification of the process industry, an important step in reducing CO₂ emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. This is a proprietary technology that has been fully developed by Van Beek, and is currently subject to a patent application. The first test machine is available to customers who want to experience the energy savings and process benefits of the Celsius Volta. The Celsius Volta is an efficient solution for heating, drying or mixing products in, among others, the chemical and food industries. The technology is ideal for processes involving viscous masses, powders and granules, where the screw ensures the correct temperature and residence time in the machine. The machine is available in various sizes, and can be fully adapted to specific customer needs. Want to know more? To find out how Celsius Volta can improve your process, please contact us.
