BINEM Drum Unloading Systems

BINEM is the most advanced Drum Unloading System. It is designed for CIP capability. It can process highly viscous products. In most cases a product waste of less that 1% is achievable. The unique design guarantees the highest level of hygiene, ease-of-use and reliability. Unique application scope The BINEM Drum Unloading System is equipped with the high quality Bornemann twin screw pump. The system has been especially developed to empty drums that are filled with very viscous products. Products which are not self-leveling and can not be handled by a drum pump or lance. From tomato paste and chocolate spread to cookie filling and peanut butter or meat paste. A solution for each drum type Round, square, small or large, with or without liner. The BINEM 200 and 1000 can be used to empty 200 – resp. 1000- liter round and conical drums. The SQ version is the ideal solution for unloading 1000 liter square bins. The BINEM AS system, equipped with a swing arm, enables to empty, in turn, 4 drums on a pallet without moving the drums. Hygiene at the highest level The used twin screw pump is EHEDG certified. The pump itself is capable of performing the CIP procedure of the whole BINEM system, as well as of the process equipment inline with the pump. The follower plate can be easily dismantled for cleaning. The unique and ingenious frame is quicker to clean and remains clean longer. Furthermore, the lifting cylinder is hygienically housed in the guiding system. Minimal product waste The follower plate with inflatable rubber wiper perfectly cleans the sides of the drum. The result is a completely empty drum with less that 1% product waste. High reliability To guarantee a high reliability, the lifting of the pump unit is performed by one single pneumatic cylinder. The use of a high quality twin screw pump, made in Germany, ensures a high system reliability and a long lifespan. Pressure: up to 25 bar Flow rate: up to 12 m3/h Viscosity: up to 1.000.000 cP
