The NB series inclinationsensor offers highly accurate tilt angle measurements through the use of advanced MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) sensor technology. These sensors contain movable structures that generate small capacitance changes under the influence of acceleration and gravity. These changes are recorded and processed, resulting in an extremely accurate tilt angle measurement.

Thanks to digital processing and built-in controllers, the sensor achieves a high degree of precision and reliability. The measuring axes operate independently, contributing to the accuracy and stability of the measurements.

The robust aluminum or stainless steel housing offers excellent resistance to vibration and shock. Due to the casting techniques used within the housing, the sensor meets IP69K protection class, making it ideal for use in extreme environments where exposure to water, dust, or high-pressure cleaning is common.

To maximize reliability, the NB series features a redundant MEMS sensor system. This system performs continuous plausibility checks by comparing the measured position of the primary sensor with that of a second, independent sensor.
