Rotterdam Processing Week will take place in Rotterdam Ahoy on October 1 and 2, 2025. Deltalinqs, knowledge partner within the Energy in Processing zone (at the M+R trade fair), will demonstrate how the energy transition in the Port of Rotterdam is linked to technological innovation, supply chain collaboration, and economic opportunities.
CO₂ Reduction and Achieving Competitiveness
On Thursday, October 2, a keynote session will take place on the energy transition in the Rotterdam port cluster. Deltalinqs Program Director for Economic Transition, Anne-Marie Spierings, will use this session to explain the current challenges facing the process industry and answer the question of which challenges should be addressed first. The industry needs to become more sustainable. But that’s not easy. The energy infrastructure is inadequate, permits are difficult to obtain, and business cases often fail to generate sufficient results. The government’s policies, which hope to achieve sustainability, are also often counterproductive. Anne-Marie will describe the role process technology can and should play in finding answers to the current challenges in the industry.
Putting the Energy Transition Plan 2030 into Practice
KWA Business Advisors and BlueTerra Energy Experts are both organizing knowledge sessions on the Energy Transition Plan 2030 (ETP2030). This strategic plan is specifically tailored to individual companies, focusing on minimizing CO2 emissions by intelligently adapting business processes. Representatives from the two organizing agencies will explain how ETP2030 quickly visualizes potential savings, including the investment and payback period, resulting in a concrete implementation plan.
